you will need:
- a computer- a printer
- adobe acrobat (preferably)
- scissors or boxcutter
- some elbow grease
1. get your pdf and press 'print'
2. make sure the page sizing is set to 'booklet'
3. also check that the booklet subset is set to 'both sides'
(if possible, check if you have 'short edge binding' - this is optional)
4. set your image options to 'high resolution'
5. check that your pages are in a4, this will mean the booklet will be in a5 size
(you can also print in a5 if you want a tiny cute lil pocket zine)
6. print the booklet! if this doesn't work, take a break, drink some water and try again tomorrow
7. once printed, fold your zine down the middle
8. staple twice along the folded edge - make sure your staples go directly down the middle
(you can try punching two holes down the middle and binding the pages with thread)
9. trim any excess sides off with scissors or a boxcutter
and enjoy your new zine!
